This place suits me perfectly with amenities like free parking, outdoor swimming pool, and beach access. On my first stay, the staff helped me resolve an issue in the room at night. I’ll be back for New Year!

Clean and friendly service from the staff.
I was really disappointed with the room. The HVAC unit was dusty and close to the bed, making it hard to breathe at night. Additionally, the shower pressure was very low, and the drain was slow, resulting in an uncomfortable experience overall.

The beach front property was a highlight, with immediate access to the sand just steps away. The renovated rooms featured comfortable memory foam beds, but the bright fluorescent lighting was an eyesore, lacking bedside lamps. Though housekeeping was minimal, the staff was accommodating when we requested more supplies. A coffee pot was provided promptly. While the stay offered a fantastic view and good beach access, the antiquated bathroom plugs and inconsistent air conditioning could use improvement.

I had a nice stay for three nights, enjoyed the hot water in the shower and the clean pool. The view was breathtaking, but the room was a bit older than expected.

great location but cleanliness issues
The beachfront location allows direct access to the sand, making it a great spot for beach lovers. The price is affordable for the area, which is a significant plus. Additionally, I enjoyed the lovely sea view from my room, which added a nice touch to my stay.

The King Room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. It had a kitchenette, which was handy for quick meals. Plus, the views were awesome and you can’t beat the beach access. The only downside was a bit of outdated decor and some minor wear, but it was all functional and clean. Totally worth it!

The location of Sea Shell Inn is fantastic, right across from the beach. The view from the room is stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. I appreciated the mini-fridge and the updated shower surround, which added some comfort to the rustic environment. The beds with vintage headboards were comfortable enough for our stay. However, the maintenance and cleanliness left much to be desired. The floors weren't completely clean, and we found unfinished outlet boxes in the room. The kitchenette cabinets were dirty, and we had to clean the fridge before using it because of a spill. Unfortunately, there wasn't any real maid service during our two nights. only fresh towels were given, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The surroundings felt a bit sketchy, which made us uneasy. Overall, the charm of the inn is overshadowed by the need for significant upgrades and cleaning.

The beach access right behind the place offers a relaxing spot for a quick dip or a stroll. The proximity to attractions like the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium is pretty convenient for families looking to explore.
The rooms could use a serious update—they definitely feel worn out and not very clean. I found old toothpaste stuck in the bathroom cabinet, and the kitchenette setup was barely functional, with little space for storage. The pool area felt neglected, with missing tiles and sand at the bottom. Noise from other guests drifted in, making sleep less than peaceful. Overall, it potentially serves up great views, but you might want to pack some disinfectant wipes.

The location is a total dream, just steps from the beach—a true Corpus Christi gem! Waking up to that view was pure bliss. Blackbeard's On the Beach was a tasty highlight, serving up classic American eats that really hit the spot. Plus, the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
The property definitely shows its age and has some wear and tear. Walls are thin, making for some noisy neighbors. Plus, watch out for surprise fees like the $50 deposit—it caught me off guard on check-in!

The location was unbeatable, right on the beach, but the rooms definitely showed signs of age. While the staff was friendly and helpful, some amenities were lacking, like limited parking and noisy surroundings. Still, for the price, it was a decent experience overall.
